Commentary on the 6 session Guru yoga with Geshe Lobsang Tengye Saturday 19 et Sunday 20 June By receiving a complete initiation (tib. wang) of the highest yoga tantra (skt. maha anouttara yoga tantra), we promise to recite the Six Session Guru yoga six times a day and which allows us to fulfill the committments of the five buddha famililes. The Graduated Path to Liberationwith Geshe Tenzin Loden from Saturday 3 to Friday 9 July Over seven days, Geshe Tenzin Loden will give a commentary on « The Foundation of All Qualiies », an essential Lam-rim text. Commentary on Lama Chïpawith Geshe Lobsang Tengye from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 July Geshe Lobsang Tengye has accepted to give a commentary on the Guru Puja, a text composed by the first Panchen Lama, Lobsang Chökyi Gyaltsen. This teaching is reserved for those who have received a highest yoga tantra initiation (skt. maha anouttara yoga tantra). ______________________________
Visit of Yangsi Rinpoché
Yangsi Rinpoche was born in Kathmandou in Nepal in 1968.
Recognized at the age of six as a reincarnation of
Geshe Ngawang Gundun, one of
Lama Yeshe's teachers, he studied at Kopan Monastery, in Nepal, under the kind authority of
Lama Yeshe then at Sera Je Monastery in southern India, under
Kensur Lobsang Tenzin Rinpoche.
He obtained the title of geshe lharampa in 1995. He is now director of Maitripa Institute, a university that proposes a teachers training program for the FPMT, in Portland, USA. For a number of years, Rinpoche has given us the pleasure of teaching at Vajra Yogini Institute during the summer months. Commentary onr bodhicitta and 1,000 arm Chenrezig initiation with Yangsi Rinpoche Dates to be confirmed From approx. Tuesday 3 to Saturday 14 August Over the last years, His Holiness the Dalaï Lama has chosen, a number of times, to teach the Commentary on bodhicitta by Nagarjouna. This summer, Yangsi Rinpoche will continue the commentary that he began in August 2009. During these ten or eleven days, Yangsi Rinpoche will confer the 1,000 arm Chenrezig initiation. In order to receive this initiation, one must have taken refuge, have faith in tantric practices and sincerely wish to put them into practice. ______________________________ |
