Last minute news concerning accommodation :

The rooms : as of October 31st 2008, all rooms in the chateau have now been reserved.

Accommodation capacity at the Institute site has nearly already been reached. There are still places available in the large dormitory that we've arranged in the yoga hall in the west wing, with mats, mattresses and pillows on the floor (don't forget your sleeping bag etc).

*French law being more and more strict, we are obliged to limit the accommodation we can offer at the Institute, including camping.

For women, there are still several places left for the entire retreat in the large dormitory that we've arranged in the 'bergerie', with mats, mattresses and pillows on the floor (don't forget your sleeping bag etc). There are no more places in this dormitory for the first week of the retreat (from the 5 to 12) but the following weeks are available. Camping is still possible for the first week (bring all your gear) or you can ask us about the possibilities left in the gîtes and hotels near the Institute.

We have visited the hotels in Lavaur that may be able to accomodate you, less than ten minutes by car from the Institute. Click here for more details.


Camping : camping is still the most economical accommodation and guarantees a minimum of privacy. Please note that we cannot lend bedsheets to campers, bring your own complete set. Please call in at the reception as soon as you arrive, we'll help you find a spot for your tent, caravan or camping-car depending on other arrivals. For caravans and camping-cars, please note that there will be no electricity connection.

Fixed prices include the night and lunch. For those not taking precepts breakfast (4€) and a light dinner (5€) will be available (to be reserved and paid for on the spot).

Sangha

Institut Vajra Yogini and IMI (International Mahayana Institute, the organization of FPMT monks and nuns) wish to sponsor all Sangha members for their retreat fees and for all their accomodation and meals fees if they stay in dormitory or camping.

If you wish to help IMI and Institut Vajra Yogini to sponsor all monks and nuns, please specify in the registration form the amount you are willing to donate. All donations, big or small are wellcome.
